About the SGA-CutClip
The SGA-CutClip takes over the most labour-intensive step in grafting. The operator places a tray in the machine and the machine works through it plant by plant: the top leaf is removed, the stem is cut at the set angle and height, and the graft clip is placed. No manual steps in between, and no handling of the plants themselves. Because the tray stays in the machine, the root system is never disturbed. Cut and clip units clean automatically after every tray, which keeps cross-contamination out of the process. Settings are adjusted on the PLC touchscreen while the machine runs, and existing clips and knives can be kept in use.
