Flier Systems has been specialising in mechanization and automation solutions in the processing area of the professional young plant grower for over 90 years. Our focus is on the cultivation of fruity vegetables and field crops, as well as for the emerging market of hydroponic cultivation. Flier Systems provides automation and mechanization solutions up to and including the harvesting of the end product and works closely together with consultants, seed companies and other suppliers to understand the impact of automation and mechanization. This results in solutions that contribute to optimal cultivation conditions and improved working conditions, which ultimately result in better and safer food. Besides the cultivation domains of fruity vegetables, field crops and hydroponics, Flier Systems also provides solutions for trees and floriculture.
Since 1993, Flier Systems has been active in the American and Canadian market and realized many beautiful projects through a local distributor. From April 2022 onwards, the sales, installation and service for the American and Canadian market will be provided via Flier Systems USA Inc, our new location in the USA. ‘We are convinced that we will provide our American and Canadian customers with the same kind of attention and respect to serve them even better with our knowledge and expertise of the different cultivation domains’ says Ad Kranendonk, Head of Sales and Business Development at Flier Systems, ‘We are very happy to have taken this step and expect to play an even more prominent role in the American and Canadian market.’
Michiel van der Waal will be managing Flier Systems USA Inc. Michiel has Dutch origins, has been living in the USA since 2012 and has a lot of experience in horticulture. All these elements make him a valuable representative of the solutions Flier Systems offers. Next to that, he is responsible for the organisation of local installations and service. The technical and commercial support from the Netherlands is provided by Adrie van Diemen, Sales Engineer at Flier Systems. Adrie is an experienced horticulture sales engineer, especially within the American and Canadian market.
