About the TIS

The TIS is designed to carefully handle young plants and position them precisely in stone wool cubes. Computer vision technology aids in assessing plant requirements and can also rotate the plant in the right position for optimal staking. With the option to change the gripper set, the TIS can also transplant the plugs half-tilted. Hygiene is ensured by disinfecting the cups with UV light every cycle and setting gripper cleaning intervals. By automating the transplanting process, growers can achieve higher planting accuracy, faster planting speeds, and overall improved crop uniformity.
